William Dalrymple

William Dalrymple is a Scottish historian, writer, and journalist, best known for his books on India, the Middle East, and South Asia. His works often explore themes of colonialism, history, and religion, blending meticulous research with engaging narratives. Notable books include The Last Mughal, White Mughals, and The Anarchy. Dalrymple has won numerous literary awards and is also the co-founder of the Jaipur Literature Festival, one of the largest literary festivals in the world.
