Hoover attended Texas A&M-Commerce, where she studied social work. After graduation, she worked as a social worker and teacher before becoming a full-time writer in 2012.

Hoover’s first novel, “Slammed,” was self-published in 2012 and became a bestseller on Amazon. Since then, she has published numerous novels, including “Point of Retreat,” “Hopeless,” “Maybe Someday,” and “It Ends with Us,” which has won several awards.
